[/blockquote][/blockquote]To Be Your Own Best Friend...APPERANCE: Matt is a small boy for his age, strangely enough. He seems almost sickly, at first glance, because he is skinny and more or less no one can really see through his usually baggy clothing. He stands at about four feet, six inches, small for his age possibly, like I said once before. His parents would sometimes worry that he would not grow any more than he already has, really. Yeah, sure, his almost pale skin doesn't look like it'll help much, either, but Matt doesn't see that as a problem; neither does he see him having green-brown hair and slightly shaggy brown-black hair with shades of green that his father let him put in. His mother over-reacted about that, well enough like most mother should. Then again, like the boy needed any more pressure, he was already called "four eyes" and "shrimp" by many.
His clothing does yet to git his almost scrawny appearance, anyway; often does Matt wear white button up shirts with long sleeves, the ends rolled up slightly. He always has slightly baggy green pants with a brown belt to match, too, just in case someone tries to give him a wedgie. Trust me, it's happened before none the less. He wears running shoes forquick ways to escape his captorseasy get-go, you know? He's never seen without them, really. He usually carries a one strapped brown leather sack on his back, of which carries all of his items that are "necessary" to him, one of them being a journal with a brown cover with a strap that keeps it closed when he doesn't need it to be open. He uses it to keep track of battling styles, Pokemon species and behavior, as well as what Pokemon is weak and resistant to what, and also effect types. Pretty smart, right?
PERSONALITY: Matthew is what many would be concerned to as a geek at some aspects; before he started his journey in the new region, he was very fond of school, and though his parents wished for him to become a great trainer and travel the world - hoping to use this to break his bad habits of staying inside all day and not getting a speck of sun - Matthew had always dreamed of becoming something more, like a scientist or a Pokemon Professor. He idolized - and still does - the famous Professor Oak while growing up, that not helping much in the long run. Because of his dream, he always carries around a small journal made of brown leather covering on the outside, though inside is has many things he copied down from school and from learning things from his father as well, though there are a few blanket pages as well.
Matthew is what you would call anti-social as well; he was so used to being in doors most of his life, not only because of his studying about school, but also about because he was fairly sick most of his life due to living in the fridge place of Snow Point City, where he often came down with a cold because of the area surrounding it. Another reason for his being shy is because often at school he was picked on by a lot of the other kids for being smaller than he should have been, and he never really stood up for him self, either. When confronted by another person directly, he often goes mute if a person talks to him, only giving directions if they ask, or just pointing them towards the right direction before moving on. Around girls or women that he may think to be pretty, he usually ends up just blushing and usually cannot speak, even when spoken to.
The boy has had his problems with bullying in the past, sure; it's hard for him to get near others without him imediently thinking that he is in danger. Well, if they look frightening to him, to say the least. One reason why it is hard for him to make friends. Though usually, if you stay with him long enough, and if you get him to open up a little by letting him get to know you first, you just might get a friend. Sure, he'll be a little hesitant for him to actually warm up or even tell him about him self to you, much less be trustful back-up in a time of crisis, but still, he's smart enough to where you won't go stupid with his knowledge, and that just might make it easier on you, too. Well, depending on how much you wanna learn form him, really.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]Leave Out All The Rest...HISTORY: Matthew Devin Anderson was born on a normal snowy evening in the quiet town of Snow Point in the region of Hoenn, a quiet and descolent place if anyone were to think so them selves. His parents, Devin Michael Anderson, a former Pokemon Trainer, and Lynda Erica Madison, a former Co-Ordinator and still Pokemon Breeder, had moved there not a year after their marriage to one another, and wanted a quiet place to raise a family. A year later, small and slightly sickly Matthew was born, fighting for his life for the first few weeks after his birth. He had managed to survive, though, tough with a slightly weaker immune system than others should have had as he grew up. It wasn't the worst, he had survived the better part of it; but it was never the best either.
For the first few years of his life, his mother would never let him go to play outside in the snow with the other children like many of the residence would for the youth; instead, while the boy's father was at work and while his mother cleaned the house and did her daily chores, the young child was always watched over by Pokemon, weather it be his mother's Ninetails and Dragonair, or his father's Infernape and occasionally his Drowsee when the boy needed the entertainment, the Phsycic type more of a clown than anything. It was thought to be a good life, as one might think for the boy. Of course, he cried when he wanted to get out of his crib or his room and his mother wouldn't let him, and the few times as a baby when he was allowed to crawl around the house while his mother was asleep, the Pokemon putting him away before she woke up. Kind of awry, really.
When Matthew was six years old, his father finally convinced his mother that he was ready for Trainer School. Both of his parents had agreed early on that their off-spring would be raised in the ways of Pokemon, weather it be breeding, training, or Co-Coordinating. Of course, having been a boy, Matthew seemed that he would make a great Pokemon Trainer. He had become accustomed to Pokemon because he grew up with them, and because that since the boy was often sickly, both parents thought it would be better for the boy to travel around more and get healthy. Upon ever going to school, though, he was a shy tyke, and often sat away from everyone else during school. He was picked on and teased because of his size and weight, and was always made fun. It was a wonder he ever even went. If you asked him now, he would have told you that it was mostly because of the Pokemon.
Okay, so really it started when he had no other friends around for him, and that was the only Pokemon around for him to actually play around with without him wanting to move too much for make too much noise. If you didn't know, an Alakazam by the name of Paranormal started the boy's interest in Pokemon rather than going to the Pokemon Trainer School in his home town at first, before his parents had brought up the term. His parents had told him that ever since he was born, his father's Alakazam had always been caught meditating besides the boy's bed, even when he was a small baby in his crib. It seemed handy, for the Psy Pokemon, being able to read into the not so distant future, or simply knowing that something wrong was going to happen to the boy, would always alert the parents moments before the boy woke up crying for someone or something.
The Alakazam had been received in a trade a long while after Matthew's father, Devin, had become a Pokemon Trainer him self, near the Ghost-Type Leader's domain and onto wanting to win his next badge. A friend of his had just recently received a Kadabra from one of his friends, the Pokemon evolving in the process. Of course, like any other traded Pokemon, the newly evolved Alakazam would not listen to it's new trainer, though having already defeated the purple haired maiden him self, the man gave it to Devin in exchange for a Gastriodon he had always been wanting. Of course, Devin had soon learned that it was a bad deal for him, for the Pokemon seemed strong enough to not want to listen to the trainer either. The young boy at the time didn't feel like giving up the strong Pokemon at the time, so the best he could do was train it until it liked him, even if it meant defeating the next gym leader without him. Of course, it took a few years for Devin to gain the Pshycic type's trust, it seemed faster with the boy.
One family member of the man believe that the Pokemon possibly felt attached to the boy because of something that happened to it in the past, or perhaps thought that it could help the boy in a way. Even more so, weather the reason be that the Alakazam either saw the boy as something in it's past or just liked being in the presence of small children, it never made a difference to Matt. Often, the boy would sit in his room studying on his bed with the Pokemon right beside him, and often his mother would pass by and hear the boy talking to the Pokemon like it was another human being, something the women would never hear from her son, the boy never talking to humans or even other Pokemon as such. Of course, he was sickly, and could rarely go out and play with the other children, never really making friends either to come in and play with him. Sure, he thought he was fine. He had Asthma, but it was all good. Wasn't it?
At the time of his tenth birthday, his parents and him self were already fretting. The elders thought that if they let the boy go alone with just a small starter Pokemon, that he would get hurt and injured, his mother crying at the thought of loosing her "baby boy" this early. His father at first insisted that he talk to one of his friends, for he knew a few of them had children who were starting their Pokemon journey as well. Because Matthew was and is so shy, he refused instantly on that offer, saying that he didn't want to travel with a person that he did not know at all. After that offer was declined, Devin insisted that he should accompany his son on his journeys, though Matthew thought of that to be embarrassing enough as it was. Every other option seemed to fail in the boy's eyes, and for a moment, he thought he would never get to go on a journey. Sure, he was aiming for a Pokemon Professor behind his parents back, but still.
After what seemed like the end of it, his mother, who had been quiet for a while to let her husband speak of the conversation, did engage an idea in mind: letting the boy take Paranormal. She had said that it was custom in the olden days that people would sometimes raise new born Pokemon along with newborn children in order to create a bond for a life long partner, while others presented Pokemon with children for them to take care of because of the family's inability to watch the child because many family members worked by the age of six or seven, and were unable to watch the youngest, resulting in sed Pokemon becoming the children protector. Paranormal had become a little bit of both. Of course, Matthew went jumping around all excited at this, running circles around the levitating Pokemon as it tried to meditate, epically failing when the Pokemon realized the boy might have an Asthma attack if he kept it up.
Of course, Matthew would be unable to use the Pokemon for battling right off due to the "unfairness" of it, as his mother sought it, and had said to him that the Pokemon might disobey him because he was so young and didn't have any badges. His father said that as soon as the boy had gotten enough strong Pokemon on his team, the Alakazam could be sent back home to relax from it's journey. But as if that would happen. The boy would also have to choose which region he would go exploring in, though his parents didn't want him going too far from home. Of course, he wanted to travel farther than that. His tenth birthday did roll around in the month of May, and he was excited when he left home almost tripping over his own feet, a bag on hand and a Pokemon following quietly behind. His first thoughts were to Canalave Port, of which Paranormal had instantly tele-ported them to since the Pokemon had been there once before.
While standing there, wondering if he should just travel his home region, he heard a sailor speak of a new region with many surprises, and he couldn't wait to go. Sure, his asthma has dimmed down a little, and he isn't as sickly as he used to be, but he is a child who can't wait to get his starter at the new region, nor can he wait to study things there, even if his parents are expecting badges. His main goal is to find a new discovery, as well as learn about all of the Unown. Would you be able to?....Leave Out All The Rest

NICKNAME: Paranormal.
GENDER: Male.
LEVEL: -
MOVES:
- Teleport.

- Psybeam.
- -
INFO/PERSONALITY: An Alakazam his father received in a trade that eventually "bonded" with Matthew when he was a baby, or at least thought to. The Pokemon agreed to join the boy on his journey since the boy's parent's were perhaps over reacting with their son's fading illnesses, and agreed to go back "home" when the boy was able to take care of him self. Paranormal is an over all calm and collected Pokemon, usually found meditating when there is nothing else to do besides walk, eat, or watch the grass grow, though will often act as the child's body guard when the boy is scared or frightened. It seems rare as well as the Pokemon will show feelings all too well, either. The Psy Pokemon is also a very strange Pokemon, though as well; no one really knows about his past because Matt's father received him from a friend to received him from a friend, though who knows where it goes after that. Paranormal is currently not allowed to fight other trainers or their Pokemon because Matt's mother sought it unfair, though is able to only if he is protecting "the boy."
Essentially, the only move that Matt knows the Pokemon knows is Teleport, as well as it is the only move that the boy can actually make the Pokemon use without the Pokemon disobeying his orders or something of the sort, so there for, the only actual known move Matt is counting for the Pokemon as of currently is Teleport, as well as he is unsure of the Pokemon's level, and how strong the Pokemon is as well.***
NICKNAME: Astral.
GENDER: Male.
LEVEL: Five.
MOVES:
- Growl.
INFO/PERSONALITY: Received from the Pokemon lab as his starter Pokemon. Often like you may think to be a Ralts to be, Astral is usually very timid around strangers, mostly hiding behind Matthew or Paranormal for cover. He will, however, approach a person if he seems to absoluty know that they are kind hearted, and especially if they are nicer than usual and free of will. He seems more as Matt's sidekick than his fighting Pokemon; Matthew never really was planning to battling with the Pokemon in the first place, possibly using the Pokemon for help in the "field" instead. He does hope to evolve the Pokemon into a Gallade one day; he just needs a Dawn Stone is all.....I Ain't The Sharpest Tool In The Shed.
