Shrouded Woods.

The long stretch between the port and Cinder Town. It may be as clear as day outside the woods, but inside, it is very dim and dubbed "creepy" and "scary" by many. The walk is a few miles long, and many trainers have to end up spending the night in this area - to their dismay - while others sometimes end up walking in circles trying to find their way out. It is rumored that there lives frightening Pokemon in here, so many people walk in groups so the loners won't get snatched up. Many bring a Pokemon with them just to return them at the end of the journey. Luckily, there have been no missing persons reports as of yet.

This area is mostly filled with Bug- and Grass- Types, as well as the occasional Normal- Normal Types. Many people catch their starter here rather than get one at the lab.
