Of course, catching a Pokemon is pretty simple really easy. Just read below to find out how.

1.) If you are hunting for a Pokemon, you may go to where a Pokemon may be able to be caught. This usually tends to be on routes, though on a rare occassion will a Pokemon will appear in a city unless for a certain Pokemon*. A staff member will reply with a Pokemon from that area, thoug hlook at the thread there for what Pokemon are common, uncommon, rare, may be only caught with certain items, or at certain times of the day they appear.

* If you wish to run into a certain Pokemon, then let a staff member whom you want to play as the Pokemon know, or you may not get it.

2.) Of course, most Pokemon caught are usually challanged to a Pokemon battle first, and if they accept, there will be a battle*. The battling rules for versus a wild Pokemon are the same as battling a tamed one, though their moves will vary by their level, parents, and age. The staff member will keep track of the Hp the wild Pokemon has, and will say how effective a move is on your Pokemon and the wild one, if able. Of course, you will be responsable for knowing if your Pokemon is on the brink of fainting or not.

* Of course, not all wild Pokemon are caught by battling. Many people have been known to befreind them and then the Pokemon may ask to join their team instead. Sound cool?

3.) Some Pokemon may be recived in trades for another Pokemon. There is currently a few trade centers here, and the rules there may be different than other places, but still the same.

4.) Some Pokemon may be adopted by agencies and given to people for a certain price. Of course, be weary of that as well, as you may not know if some people are telling the truth.
