Battling, fighting against other trainers, going on to see whose stronger, raising Pokemon and harnessing their power to that you may win just one more fight to move on. Trainers were more or less one of the first being to find a use for Pokemon that bonded them quickly. A League was set out in many regions as they progressed, shiny objects called badges that were given out by people called Gym Leaders of whom were well skilled in Pokemon Battling, and were used for those who wished to test out their skills to see if they were strong enough to head on to the next round of their journies. Many Pokemon have gone and passed in these years, trainers from all around learning what it means to make a friends out of someone you may know nothing about. A Pokemon Trainer: one who is skilled in raising Pokemon to higher levels and aiming to be the very best.
About a year or two ago, a region was found not far off from the region of Kanto. It was founded when Professor Oak and a group of scientists were exploring the nether regions of Kanto, when they stumbled upon an area lush with vegetation. As they traveled further, they found that the area they were in was a place all it's own. It was amazing, really, that a place such as this had been practically right under their noses for so long. As they traveled further, they found a few new species of Pokemon, though, none the less, they were hard to find after wards as well as hard to capture. So, as they set up the region to become a Pokemon League. A name for it, you may be asking about as you read this?
Well, that was just it.
Since they were making an "Indigo League" for this new region, they needed a way to get trainers and other life to come and quickly populate the area. Pokemon had seemed scarce around, maybe because the region was a little father up north, and that most Pokemon had migrated down north for part of the year. So, they came up with a plan: for whom any trainer who entered the Pokemon League, they would get a shot at becoming League Champion, as well as getting to name the Un-Named Region. Any trainer who was able to make it to the finals and win the Indigo League of this new region, would have a chance to fight the Elite Four, four different people from completely different regions, in order to fight to become the Champion of the region. Sounds fun, right?
Only if your gutsy enough to try it out, of course.
